EDGE Certified Foundation

EDGE Certified Foundation is the guardian of the EDGE Standards and Certification System, the leading global standard for workplace gender and intersectional equity.

EDGE Certification assesses organizations across four pillars: representation, pay equity, effectiveness of policies and practices, and inclusiveness of the culture. Organizations progress through the EDGE Certification levels based on their performance against the EDGE Standards. EDGEplus Certification enables organizations to deepen the assessment by considering workplace equity through an intersectional lens.

The EDGE Pay Equity and Transparency Certification provides organizations with a focused, independently verified framework to assess and proactively manage pay equity and transparency. It can be pursued as a standalone certification or alongside broader EDGE Certification. The required pay equity analysis can be conducted using the EDGE Empower® Pay Tool or a number of other EDGE-approved pay equity solutions.

All EDGE certifications are independently verified by EDGE-approved Certification Bodies, providing organizations and their stakeholders with credible evidence of performance and progress against clear global standards.
